Get
FileZilla
In order to transfer your web pages and images to the web you need an FTP program.
FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. There are lots of good programs out there to choose from. Some are free, some you will have to pay for.
To get started perhaps a free one is in order. So, here are instructions for installing
a FTP program called FileZilla.
First we need to download FileZilla.
Left Click the following blue link to open a browser window and
sourceforge:

Find the following on this page.
Choose the Package FileZilla and Release 3.0.10 (left Red
Rectangle) and left Click the
Green
Download button
(right Red
Rectangle) to open the next page.
On this page scroll down to find the area shown below.
Find the blue line FileZilla_3.0.10_win32-setup.exe
(Red
Rectangle). Move your mouse pointer over that blue link and left Click that link. You will get the following pop-up:
Left Click Save (Red
Oval), and the following screen will appear:
Make sure Desktop shows in Save As: (Red
Rectangle). If it does Not show Desktop, left Click the little down arrow
on the right side of the Save in: box,
(Green
Circle) and a new box will open. Slide your mouse pointer to select Desktop and left Click Desktop. Now Desktop will show in the Save In:
(Red
Rectangle) area. Now left Click the Save button
(Red Oval) in the lower right of the window.
You may get the following screen:
If you do, just left click Run (Red
Oval), it will be no problem.
You will then see the following screen:
The file is downloading, wait for it to finish.
When you see the screen above, left click Run (Red
Oval)
You will then see the following screen:
Just left Click “I Agree” (Red
Oval) to accept the license agreement.
You will then see the following screen:
The “Anyone” radio button will be selected, you may change the selection if you want by clicking on the other radio button. But that should not be necessary. Just left click Next
(Red Oval).
You will then see the following screen:
The top three components will be selected with a green check mark. You should left click the fourth component Desktop Icon to select it
(Red
Rectangle). It will then have a green check mark as shown above. Then left click Next
(Red Oval).
You will then see the following screen:
No change is required. Accept the Destination Folder by just left Clicking the Next button
(Red Oval).
Which will bring you to the following screen:
You should accept the default FileZilla FTP Client Folder (Green
Oval) by left Clicking the Install button
(Red Oval).
Which will bring up the following screen:
Great News! Installation is Complete.
Nothing to do here except left Click the Finish Button (Red
Oval).
Now you will be back at your Desktop.
If you saved to your desktop instead of selecting run earlier, you can now remove the Icon from you desktop that says “FileZilla_3.0.10_win32-setup.exe”
by Right Clicking on the Icon, that will open a box. Slide your mouse pointer to Delete and left Click.
Note: Be careful Not to delete the Icon that just says “ZileZilla Client” as that is the one you just installed. It looks like
this:
