Introduction
to Auction Template Builder
Almost anyone can build an Auction Template using this automated tool.
At this point you might be thinking, “I can’t do this” or, “I’ll never understand this stuff”.
Good news, everything you need to get an Auction Template working is included in
your e-book and in this Library. You do not need to learn HTML, just type, copy and paste as we go along. You will, just in passing, learn a good deal about how an Auction Template works as you put it together just by doing
it.
So, whenever you have a question, check in your e-book and then
in the Library. If you don’t find your answer, use the Support Form in the Library and I will try to post the answer in the Library so everyone that has the same question will be able to find the
answer.
When you are building your Auction Template the most important thing is to accurately enter the information. A mistyped letter or number (typo) can and will do strange things to the final result. Just remember, you will not be doing anything that will break anything or that can’t be fixed very easily. Just relax and enjoy the
process.
After you get your first Auction Template finished and you see how easy it really is you may want to add additional templates to make a ready-to-use collection, an Auction Template toolbox you might say.
Getting Started
The first thing you need to do is get everything that you will need all together and ready to use. Here I will talk about each item and then starting with the next section we will go through each one from the start to the finish line.
Here is what you will need to get ready. A Computer with a Text Editor and Browser like Microsoft Internet Explorer, a Connection to the Internet, a Photo Editor, a FTP Program and a place on the internet to put your images like
Frisco Depot Image Hosting.
Since you are reading this there is a good chance that you already have the computer and the connection to the Internet. Since a text editor and browser comes with the computer operating system you should be good there and we will get you familiar with it in the Tools section
a little further down on this page.
If you do not have a Photo Editor, that’s not a problem, a
little further down in Tools I will talk about downloading, installing and using a Free Photo Editor so that will not be a
problem.
The same is true for a FTP program also, if you do not have one,
a little further down in Tools I will talk about downloading, installing and using a
Free FTP program.
As for the place on the Internet for your Images or Sales Page, perhaps you have space as part of your signup with your ISP (Internet Service Provider). To get started, there are many places you can get free hosting for a sales page and a small amount of images with limited bandwidth (traffic to your site). Just remember, in the world today as the saying goes - you get what you pay for. You may want to consider buying your web space. You can get all you are ever likely to need for only $5 to $6 dollars per month. Not a very big cost impact on the overall of your internet business is it?
If this appeals to you, please visit Frisco Depot to find out what we have to offer.

Tools
You probably already have most of the tools you will need to make your Auction Templates. If you do not have the tools listed below you will need to acquire them.
● A Computer with a text editor and Browser like Microsoft Internet Explorer.
I talked about using Notepad as your text editor and Microsoft Internet Explorer as your browser. You probably have Notepad because it comes with your Microsoft operating system. To find out if you have it, click Start, choose All Programs, then mouse over or click
Accessories and you should see it in the list.
It will have an icon that looks like this.
Just click on the word Notepad or the icon to launce the application. If you have another text editor that you like it will work as well.
In case you are wondering, why not just use a word processor, something like Microsoft Word, the answer is because you do not want the HTML code that you will generate to get formatted by accident, or any other way. By using a text editor you will get just what you copied form your Auction Template Builder without any formatting.
As for your browser, again, you probably have Microsoft Internet Explorer because it comes with your Microsoft operating system and most likely there is an icon for it on your desktop. If not, to find out if you have it, click Start, choose All Programs, and look in the list for Internet Explorer.
It will have an icon that looks like this.
If you need Microsoft Internet Explorer you can download it here.

● A Photograph Manager
Program. A program for cropping, darkening, lightening and sizing a photograph (images). If you do not have a program to edit images just
check out XnView Photo Manager in the Library Index. You will find a good place to get a free one
that will do everything you need it to do and the
instructions on how to use it.
● An FTP
Program. A program for transferring your finished page code and images to the internet. If you do not have a FTP program just
check out FileZilla FTP Program in the Library Index. You will find a good place to get a free one that will do everything you need it to
do and the instructions on how to use it.
